Community Reading Mentor

Riverside Mentors pairs gap-year volunteers with elementary-school students for weekly reading and homework support at partner schools across Chicago.

Volunteers commit to a flexible 4–6 hours per week. We provide a background check, training, and an experienced coordinator.

It's a meaningful way to give back, build mentoring experience, and stay connected to your community during a gap year.
